First Aid Gardening

During the difficult times of the Great Depression, medicine was rightly expensive and hard to come by because, so few people had the money for it. You certainly didn’t visit the doctor for every ailment and I can remember stories of my tough as nails grandmother treating all her kids at home and only going to the doctor when she couldn’t handle the situation.

I’m not a physician or nurse, so I can’t tell you what to use these plants for, but I can recommend the plants for you to do some serious research on and decide which plants you want to keep in your medicinal garden for when things pop off and get real interesting.
