Why do you offer online assessment for food forest design and preparedness consultation?
Many homesteaders have escaped bad neighborhoods and moved out into the rural communities, and they have done so because it offers them the opportunity to have a peace of mind that strangers aren’t going to stroll up onto their property. As someone who had to flee one of the larger cities in Florida due to increasing crime, I understand those individuals and want to give them a peace of mind. Additionally, I care for my three special needs children, and they are my priority, yet I will do my best to serve our community.

What is the purpose of the initial consultation?
To better understand where you came from and set goals to get you where you want to be. It allows me to understand if you are seasoned but just need some guidance to get you back on track or if you are new to homesteading and need help building from the ground up.

Are there seasons that you don’t do consulting?
Yes. I only do on-site assessments during spring (Feb/March/April) and fall (Oct/Nov/Dec). Many will cease gardening and heavy homestead work during summer due to the increase in high temperatures, abundance of rain and threat of insect infestation. However, I do online consultation throughout the year.
