Normally, I’ve already got seedlings started and prepped for our fall garden but due to our impending move I’m in a state of limbo. Instead of just sitting on my hands, I’m ordering seeds and planning out our garden even though we haven’t moved yet. I’d suggest to each and every family, that if you haven’t started a Victory Garden yet, now is the time to do so. Recently, the USPS announced that they will be slowing down which means longer times for mail order seeds to get to you. As I’ve mentioned numerous times, we are currently struggling with the supply system, so seeds and plants to local stores will be delayed. The best time to plant your garden was yesterday, the next best time is today. You can find quality seeds at Baker Creek, where they carry non-gmo heirloom varieties.
